What
We Do
Each month we hold a members meeting hosting local guides to present on the upcoming fishing season, as well as local shops and fishing tackle manufacturers to share their knowledge.
The club distributes a monthly newsletter highlighting recent catches, club sponsors, and recapping previous tournaments and outings.

In addition to meetings and newsletters, the club hosts coordinated outings, member tournaments, an awards banquet and fundraising tournaments to support local charities.

Who
We Are
The Raleigh Salt Water Sportfishing Club is made up of over 100 individuals who are drawn together by their love of saltwater fishing. Our club focuses on creating a network of fishermen to share knowledge in the greater Raleigh area.
Monthly
Meetings
At our monthly meetings we invite coastal North Carolina’s top guides, charter captains, tackle & boat manufacturers, and bait shops to inform our members on the latest tips, techniques, tackle, and fishing hot spots!
We cover a broad range of topics including surf/pier fishing, in-shore, near-shore, fly fishing, and offshore.
Club
Outings
& Events
We also hold several special events throughout the year for the benefit of our members.
Member outings are coordinated dates and groups of anglers to fish together, focused on a specific type of fishing.

Member tournaments are weekend long events target a specific species, with prizes for the winning anglers.

Fundraising tournaments are competitive events designed to raise money for local charities. In the past, the club has hosted SKA King Mackerel tournaments. More recently the club co-hosted a state-wide speckled trout tournament with CCA of NC.

Christmas Party, Awards Banquet, and Oyster Roast is the clubs year end celebration highlighting the most exceptional catches by our members.
